Can we use the side fuselage gun or not? In the stream video it was shown as being controllable, but I can't access the position.

 

In gunner cockpit hit "Ctrl+C" and you for for inside fuselage - from there, if hit "Ctrl+C" again you go back for pilot cockpit.

Instead hit "Shift+C" to "Switch to a next firing point in the current turret"  (???) that can be left/right or belly, when on desired one hit "T" to take, "Shift+T " to aim and "R" to cock the MG.

Repeat the process to cycle between the three positions.

 

Left/right positions is not much useful, too restrict angle...

Does someone fly, like me more than 30 minutes, and get big stutter/lag when going down to the airfield or the ground (less than 100M) after that?! It is a recurring problem I did uninstall and install the game because before this when I made a screenshot the game made two files in place of one?

Yes, it has been addressed by testers a couple of times. I'm sure it's on the debug list.

( I hope you are reading this) Try to remember you are in a game, the planes not real, new players make mistakes as they learn etc etc.

 

Whilst I don't suppose you are a fully fledged troll...you were bordering hob goblin.   Maybe you would be better off on call of duty ?

i had trouble to download this week update, then tried launcher29c (http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/5321-faq-about-launcher-and-updating/?do=findComment&comment=103295) and it worked smooth again! Hey 1CGS guys, thanks the Peshka is another  great addition to the game, great job

I would still really like to know what the statement about clouds meant... I did not see any difference in the pics shown and the clouds we have now. The only pic that had clouds in it that were different is the Pe-2 pic.

 

Are those the clouds mentioned in the last paragraph of the original post?

Rams happen, don't worry about it. I took my brother up in MP for his first BoS flights today and we collided twice during combat  

At least in BoS it's not a death sentence, unlike in Rise of Flight where a collision basically equals death, because we can bail out in BoS

Hi, I can´t join to MP servers today - error can´t establish multiplayer server, but yesterday it was all OK, the game now run QMB, missions etc. but no MP. Are servers down??? Thx

This is a great game and they have corrected the Lagg-3 and Yak-1 ground nose dive tendency! So now the Yak-1 and more so the Lagg-3 do bounce a lot when trying to land them or taxy it especially the tail wheel? Also the tail wheel of the Lagg-3 does go hide in the ground when parked even on a hard surface!

 

 

And this time this is a parking so it is a hard surface!

Since this update I've been struggling with landings. My perception is that landing the Lagg was made slightly easier after the initial early access but has now reverted to the bouncy-bouncy-breaky-wheelies handling of earlier updates. Just me?

 

Also, I haven't changed any settings but my force-feedback is much stiffer than before. I know I can dial it back a bit in the settings but it would be nice to know if this update changed anything.

 

Lastly, my gunnery is way off but only in MP, but that's another story.....

Looking for it also, Lagg-3 no turn indicator (the needle above the bubble), no climb/dive indicator or fuel state indicator and I nearlly forgot all trims and indicators, all this are not working! For other airplanes I do no fly them enough.

I had more fun this weekend with the PE-2, then I had all last years combined simming! I'm almost able to throw a 100kg bomb down the hatch of a tank, from 10 meters up, most of the times, and the landings are insanely fun!

I've tried several times over the past 2 days to update the game but it keeps getting stuck at the  'checking update cache' stage. The black bar turns to red  but progresses no further. 

 I haven't had this issue with previous updates.

Any suggestions?

I had to uninstall and install again.

 

That was the only way I could do it, even with the 29C launcher fix (which didn't work)

This is a new little bug or not maybe I am the only one but the tail wheel of the Lagg-3 is half in the ground?

 

 

The wheel is half hidden as it is sunk in snow.

I'd be more surprised if it were fully visible...

That's right, there are some issues with starting the game this week. So if none of the regular solutions make it work, please, re-install the game which is always a sure way to fix things.

Deleting the Updates folder and using the updated launcher did the trick for me. Many thanks

Hey x3xtpz23app1, glad you liked the video, but the real thanks is for the Dev's for making us this game I think. I just love it. At the moment I am looking at all differrent types of sound tracks. The next one has different music, and the sounds of the planes can be heard more. It was challanging at times fighting 8 German Aces, with 3 Ace comrades and 4 Aces in PE-2's set in the current QMB.

Well anyway here it is if you want to take a look at the current QMB.
