Delay/freeze after bringing up in-flight map "O" key

Hello all,

 

I've noticed that my computer has a noticeable delay when I press the "O" key to bring up the map. It usually brings up the map right away but I'm unable to manipulate it or even escape back to the cockpit for about 1-2 seconds.

 

Has anyone else experienced this? I have the game installed on an SSD so I don't think it's a problem with loading assets but I'm not a computer expert.

I have it as well. The devs fixed it before, but the problem seems to have been reintroduced since the last patch.

I fiddled around with my SSD settings last night and it seemed to help immensely. Mainly I disabled Prefetch and indexing. There's still a little hiccup but it used to take about 2-3 seconds.
