I mean clouds like this (time 5:50 onwards)?

By the way, PWCG and IL2 are awesome at the moment, excellent recent changes in both softwares.

Snow weather .

If you do snow weather without precipitation (snow falling) it would be a great overcast setting.

And if you can do it on a non snowed map would be even better.

Much better than what we have now in game forecast, can this be done in  PWCG?

Wasn't even aware it was a thing.  Sure, it's doable, but it also presents some challenges.  In that kind of weather you would not fly many missions.  Level bombing and dive bombing missions make no sense.  From a WWI PoV balloons would not be up.  Not sure how low the cloud cover goes but if it goes low enough nothing would be flying.  So yes, it could be done, but it would be much more than just a new weather setting.  Mission flight generation would have to be reworked otherwise what you see when you ar ein the air would make no sense.

What about higher overcast ceiling, like 3,000 meters?

Again, doable, but it takes more work than just changing the weather.  The missions have to make sense.  Dive bombers are up at 4K and level bombers are that high or higher.

I like the idea and it can be done.  I can make dive bombers fly ground attack profiles if the weather is bad.  I already have the concept of low alt patrol, bombing and intercept but they have to used properly based on the weather.

RIght now I do things backwards.  I generate the missions and then limit the weather based on the missions - opposite of reality but it makes perfect sense if you are trying to make enjoyable missions where what you see makes sense.  I would have to reverse the process: create the weather and then make sure that every mission generated fit within those parameters.  This is a non trivial change.  Like I said, I do like the idea, but it's not a quick turnaround.

Thanks for your great work.

That kind of weather will add some immersion.

Also any plans to add Prokhorovka map?

Understood, thank you. This is not a big issues, anyway. To me it just seems that the weather is quite often "too good" for Eastern Front. How about keeping it simple and just adding a toogle, where You could have "crazy weather option" that could give You crappy weather from time to time, keeping all other flights/parameters the same? That would be fairly simple to do? I dont think AI cares whether it can see or not when it is bombing (if it is bombing). I can't hit anything anyway with a bomber. Besides, You can always scrap the mission if You don't like the weather.

In one of the tutorial mission, You had to fly an IL2 on a blizzard, so I guess some operations were executed in a rather bad weather. I'm not a weather/flying expert thought.
