Question for Virpil users (or anyone with a dual throttle)

Do people with dual throttles have the left one bound to RPM and right one bound to throttle? I was thinking about changing my setup, because right now both throttles are bound to "throttle" and the lever on the right of the Virpil throttle is bound to RPM. It works fine, but I was thinking about binding that lever to mixture or flaps, so I wondered if people tried the "left throttle -- rpm. right throttle -- throttle" bind setup

Throttles are bound to Engine 1 and Engine 2. Unless you are only going to fly single-engined aircraft - and nothing else - it would seem logical.

For tanks I did have the throttles bound separately to turn left and right but it got complicated so I dropped it.

Yes - I've got a t-50 cm and I have the right axis bound to throttle and the left to RPM and the small "flaps" lever to the right of the 2 main throttle axes is bound to mixture. I've found that to work best for me.

I use the small 2-d hat switch on the back of the right throttle bound to flaps and the 4-way hat switch by your thumb on the right throttle handle bound to elevator trim. This way way I can adjust both flaps, throttle, and trim simultaneously (especially important if you're a 109 pilot).
