Agilepig Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 In this game, 1.30ata/2500rpm could use only 5min. Over that time, black dirt all over the wind shield and engine down. In real life, 1.30ata/2500rpm is kampfleistung, and it could use 30min. Not only Bf109F-4 but most of german fighters. See this file(Bf109F-1 bis Bf109F-4 Flugzeug-Handbuch, 24 February 1942, Teil 6 page 7) http://kurfurst.org/Performance_tests/109F4_Datenblatts/F1-F4_triebweks_Feb42.jpg I expect it will fix soon. 2
SR-F_Winger Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 I also believe something is wrong with the enginedurability. I think someone actually really has to make a video from an engine breaking when flying 1.3 ata over a certain duration (below specification). There wont happen anything without proof that there is something wrong.
Bussard_x Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 That is strange I did tests 3 weeks ago and could fly 22 minuts with 1.3 ata.
LastRightsXIII Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 No blown engines here after 5min at 1.3. I've not blown an engine yet while in combat.
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 I've cooked a couple but never a full failure. Just a reduction in performance - roughly 30 percent of max (which is just below the 80% throttle setting I usually use for engine life anyway). BTW, Good fights this week LR13. 1

Even with your cooked engine you shot me down. And same to you to sir I did have fun! S!
Agilepig Posted April 11, 2014 Author Posted April 11, 2014 Hmmm. I cannot understand about this. In quick mission, My Bf109F-4 engines gone in 5min... I think I have to re set up my client.

Cannot have to so with the client. Please make a track and post video here. This way devs have evidence there may be something wrong. Perosnally i went ahead and set up my hotas warthog so the max throttle goes only to 1.3 ata, 2500 u/min (RPM). This i use during combat. For cruise i use 1.15 to 1.2 ata at 2300 u/min. This way i havent killed any engine for days now. Above 6100m you can up the u/min to 2500. ATA is no issue up there since airpressure is low and ata drops to below 1 anyways. Quax Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 (edited) "Kampfleistung" has been used without time limit in combat. This needs some adjustment. Edited April 11, 2014 by Quax
Agilepig Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 I found the reason of problem. I reset my controller setting and changed my controller. My old and loose tensioned throttle is the reason of this problem. I change it to X52(it's old too. ha.) throttle and there is no problem now. I think, I have to buy new flight controller set. Thanks for help guys.
