Still, after the newest patch I and plenty of others experience really heavy problems.

And it has nothing to do with our PC performance so far, as I could understand it.

 

A squadron member with a NVIDIA 980 has exactly 0 problems.

An other squadron member with a NVIDIA 2060 (what a beast card) has freezes and stutters. So he refuses actually to fly out with us.

My card is a 1060 from NVIDIA and before the last patch everything was exactly FINE.

 

 

I understand the studio is not big, I appreaciate the work you guys put in so far, I really do!

This flight simulation is loved by me and many others.

I hope and pray you guys can fix this in the near future, I am faithful and will stick with MY IL-2 GB

Just a question - are you running the 3GB or 6GB version of the 1060?

It is the 6GB one.

Before the patch nearly everything run very smoothly on nearly Ultra settings.

Maybe I will ask my squadron dude with his 2060 NVIDIA card, why its not running for him.............

hmmm...I am running a 1060 6GB as well - no micro stutters at all (or none so far experienced since latest patch) - but I also run offline (SP) and play in 1080p.

(and this is in Ultra settings though I do believe I turned down shadows to medium if I recall)

You need to state whether this is in MP or SP. solve any stutters in SP before you attempt MP.

do you have stutters in SP or no?

In this video its clear visible, that its multiplayer.

At the moment I dont have any problems in singleplayer.

I play only Online and have the same Problems. Microstutters and Frezzes with 3-5 Seconds.

After Pach 6x kicked from Server Finish Virtual Pilots with Error 1009 (Conection Lost).

I play with a 1050Ti which is about 70% as good as a 1060 .   I agree that I have had to reduce some settings to continue getting 6o fps but I would never dream of refusing to play any more just because I  cannot get as much eye candy as before.

You're missing the point. People are trying to research somewhat esoteric stutters not directly related to rendering or GPU power.

 

That's why Jason always asks to clearly state whether the problems are restricted to MP. Typical performance losses due to graphics settings are not relevant here.

Jason *always* asks if it is SP or MP whatever the problem because there are too many variables with MP that make it almost impossible to follow up.

Unfortunally I have to correct my statement actually.

 

After the first big initially patch, I had micro-stutters on SP also, but not that big.

Than after some patch/fix (I dont know, I only see via steam that something is coming) 2 weeks ago or so, in SP it was fine.

NOW, I have immense micro-stutters, black screen ALSO in SP when I am flying over Rheinland.

As I wrote once, I turned everything down and tried out different graphic setup constellations with 0 result.

In ADDITION, now I got several times kicked from multiplayer servers, mostly from Finnish Virtual Pilot Server with the message which other players also

experience now, the "10009 Error" message.

I did not had that before.

 

Again, people with lower or exactly the same GPU like me have 0 problems, meanwhile some dude with some 2060 card has it like me.

 

Hope it got fixed and solved anytime in the near future, cause now I have oll the beautiful late war planes and can not fly on the beautiful map (what I see from youtube videos, lol)
