I was just wondering if anyone has found any squadrons in the new Bodenplatte career mode that do some escorting for the new AI B25s?

No.56 RAF for sure.

Not sure. The B-25s I was flying with had description "B-25(RAF)" in their icons, so I suspect USAS version exists, too.

My first mission in career was in Spit escorting bombers, at least briefing said so cos i haven't seen single bomber during the mission.

As soon we took off primary objective has shown as completed but flight leader continued checkpoints to objective where we downed few 109's and rtb.

I will report this in bug section ?

No USAAF squadrons operated with B-25's in Europe. For them it was the B-26, the A-20 and the A-26 that were used as tactical bombers.

Not sure if that was what you were asking about. Or if the question was whether USAAF squadrons escort RAF B-25s. That I don't know either :) I've flown a No. 3 Squadron RAF Tempest mission escorting bombers.

Call me nitpicky, but you're forgetting that B-25's did fly out of North Africa and then Italy.

You're right. I was thinking purely of the ETO theatre. MTO was a different story.

On a sidenote, I recall someone mentioning some while back the possibility of A-20Bs being integrated with Bodenplatte to use in player careers. Though I was disappointed this was not the case, I still look forward to the B-25 collector plane and, God willing, an A-20G aswell

Oh yeah. It's true that ETO and MTO were two separate things.

That's just the name of thd B25 in the game. If you play a quick mision or a user made one you'll also see the same RAF label.

There are RAF Boston squadrons on the map, but for whatever reason the player can't fly with them.

I just came back from a bomber escort mission escorting B-25 in the No.127 RAF, autumn offensive.

An A20G would be a great collector plane

And I've escorted B25s with the Tempest so far
