Agilepig Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 I think develop team already got this, so It is for other guys. Bf109F-4 Handbuch link: http://www.avialogs.com/en/aircraft/germany/messerschmitt/bf109/bf109-f-1-bis-f-4-flugzeug-handbuch.html#download I played Bf109F-4 today. It is better designed than I expected. Awesome! But I found something wired. 1.30ata can use only around 5min. Over that time, black dirt all over that windshield and engine down. 1.32ata is kampfleistung, It could use 30min. I attched a link. http://kurfurst.org/Performance_tests/109F4_Datenblatts/F1-F4_triebweks_Feb42.jpg I expect it will be fix soon.
RydnDirty Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 I wouldn't hold my breath. Think of your yak1 as a factory fresh, tuned and polished example. Just arrived at the front with a shipment of spare parts. Your Bf 109 F4 has been at the front for a while though, shot down twice and repaired both times, the bullet holes patched up and put back into the fight at the front. The engine is overdue for an overhaul and the mechanics don't have the spare parts so you'll just have to make the best of it. Luckily this cruel travesty of justice actually makes for a more interesting and fair fight. If you fly that beaten up bf109 fast and high, no one can catch you . You can still outrun, out climb, out turn, out dive, out gun... everything those Ruskies have got. And this way you have the satisfaction of knowing that they had a bit more of a sporting chance than if you could run your bf109 at 1.42 ata for half an hour. I myself was outraged at first but after shooting down russian planes with impunity over and over again , I changed to fly Russian and really struggled to get kills and I had to wonder if multiplier would be fun at all if the Germans always won. I just played a match now with 18 players on German and 6 of us on Russian. None of the Russian players had any kills except me and the many of the German players had half a dozen kills.

SYN_Bandy Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 (edited) These power settings were not provided by all engines. Most engines had only 3 or 4 of these power settings. The told time periods were only a reference value for the first half of the war, later they there more and more depending on the respective engine. Interesting link badaflyski; somebody who did their homework, finally... Edited September 17, 2014 by SYN_Bandy
LLv34_Flanker Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 S! The 1.30ata/2500rpm and 30min was not restricted, the 1.42ata was.

LLv34_adexu Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Question to devs or other guys. Just had first full mission failed, because what I have learn from other sims, this never happened to me. Why my 109-F4 engine dies at 10,5 km alt with ata more less than 0,8? Was flying with full throttle... I mean.. the cooling should be fine at that alt, ata is low.. why it breaks down with full throttle?
