Pilot's Career updated?

Has somebody check the pilots career after the new patch?

Did we still have the same small pool of repetive missions like before?

Hello

Unfortunately, nothing new on this side, even though the ModCereer is unfinished:

No attack or ship defense for the Kuban map or the Volga in Stalingrad.

No attack of transport planes on the map Kuban and Stalingrad.

Lack a number of scenarios that were originally planned

I managed to find out how to create Mods for new squadrons or remove them and change them from aerodrome
This opens up some possibilities.

See my posts in the Mod section

I usually counter this by flying scripted campaigns and multiple careers at the same time.
It is kind of realistic not having actions every time.
And ask the Stuka jockeys that flew up to 8 missions a day about repetitive.
But I get what you mean, realism is not fun always

I don't think it has to do with realism. Its understandable that missions repeat but the fact that missions are so A-B and don't have interesting targets. where are the tank columns, where are the supply planes, where are the cargo ships on the Volga. Why are there no missions that target infrastructure, or military depots, or military wharfs? its always intercept planes or attack ground troops whatever that is. I think at this point missions need to be more detailed and specific

Ground attack units (Bombers and attackers) actually get mission about bombing rail stations, troops concentrations and airfields. Fighters units usually only get the attack convoy mission and other more CAS-oriented mission

I get your point. And agree. I lack ability to keep interest doing them myself for the same reason.

Career mode is probably the most attractive way for me to play IL2, so this is a bit disappointing. Are there any plans for further Career mode updates? Or is it kinda just done and forgotten from now on?

However, this does not mean that work on this project is completely done, we plan to spend some time before we begin our next project on fine-tuning and polishing a number of its components and adding a couple yet to be completed pieces such as Air Marshal

It should be noted that we'll continue to improve both the Battle of Rheinland Career and Rheinland maps after the release.

Literally, on the update post, and also in one DD

Yeah hope so, thanks.

Yeah they have stated many times work will continue on the Career Mode, I am sure they have had their hands full with having three products to release

this go around.

Having no updates in Career mode this time is quite understandable. It was such a massive update already. I'm sure we'll see improvements in Career mode in future.

Did the Bodenplatte career not bring any new mission types with it?  I would have thought Airfield Defence or even Train Hunting were particularly important for BP.

How should anybody know this? It was released yesterday. As far as I know, nobody has had time to play through the career.

Well geeze, get back to me tomorrow then

I scanned the files and it's just a pasted copy of the previous ones.

Some missions are not yet finalized: everything that is with ships, trains, transport planes, spotter ....

The developer @BlackSix should be asked

I would actually like that, having like 3 missions max? per day, mostly 1 anyway is a bit weird. Especially if it's frontline where you should fly all day. It could be just an option, but i would not mind flying 8 missions per day and maybe even not having single contact.

Flying with III./JG 54, I yesterday had to intercept a recce Spitfire IXe. That was quite a race with my Dora. Finally got him after a 20km chase from 6k down to 2k altitude. That was refreshingly new to me. The new clouds really add to the immersion. Other than that, I have had a lot of bomber and ground attack intercepts and scramble missions. So far I like what I see here.

One thing that I noticed is that now during career missions air turbulences have become much more frequent in appearance and also appear to be quite stronger.

And I thought I've already mastered landing techniques...:scratch_one-s_head:
