Alex_Serbanescu Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 (edited) The correct answer is : "YES!" Edited April 10, 2014 by Acubens80
Sokol1 Posted April 10, 2014 Author Posted April 10, 2014 Is the answer Russia? Maybe ...under "light of Dione"... Sokol1
Sokol1 Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 Yes, Dione > moon of Saturn > "Little Saturn" > Badanov tank raid - behind enemy lines - against German airfield on Tatsinskaya. If one want fly "re-supply" missions, is ~ 40/45 minutes of flight to Stalingrad (@ 350 KM/H). Sokol1
johncage Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 one has to wonnder why rivers waste so much time and dont go in a straight line because terrain material and shape isn't consistent
Bando Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Never knew of this battle. Staggering numbers though. Over 300 planes lost by the Germans and some 200 tanks lost by the Russians. This sim makes one dig into the eastern front. I hope you'll excuse my ignorance, but all I ever knew was the western front and the occupation of my homeland (Holland). I never really digged into the eastern front. Reading more and more about it, the numbers are dazzling. It looks (to me) the war in Russia was at a larger scale than anything on the western front combined. Don't know if it's true, but, man those numbers, and the enormous scale of the landmass in Russia.... wow.
