pilotpierre Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 I logged in about an hour ago after installing half a dozen windows 7 updates. BoS appeared to do a very quick update, this was confirmed by the settings reverting to 'green' like they normally do after an update. And, the clouds appear different and have less in the 'cloudy' and 'heavy' settings in the QMB than I think they had prior??? I didn't log on at all yesterday (looking after grand kids again) so it may be old news but I didn't find anything in the forums about it?
WindyCityZeke Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 One thing I noticed online today after the update is the clouds do look a tiny bit different and appear to act a little different also. Before, when I would get close to the cloud the plane would be impated by very low visability or no visability even when you wouldn't think you should be. Today, it didn't seem that bad.
pilotpierre Posted April 10, 2014 Author Posted April 10, 2014 You are correct, I just realised it was the same for me. When you say after the update, I assume you are referring to the mini one I noticed today?
SR-F_Winger Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 (edited) While at clouds. Has there been said anything about even the peripheral clouds blocking vision 100% most of the time will be fixed? Edited April 10, 2014 by VSG1_Winger
J4SCrisZeri Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Didn't notice anything about mini updates, but overall clouds seem to be getting better and better. Just my impression?
senseispcc Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 (edited) there is a 79mb update but about the clouds! I am not certain, I should wait for a official anouncement. Edited April 10, 2014 by senseispcc
s8n Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 any word on this update yet? i'm curious to what was fixed....
senseispcc Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 I have seen a free flight mission in the mission screen but it does not work.
Feathered_IV Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Maybe enthusiasts could use the gtp extractor before and after an update to compare file changes. Guess I should have thought of that earlier. Downloading now at a blistering 34kb/s
