JGr2/J5_Hotlead Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 Woot woot! Thanks for the heads-up Talbot! I dearly love me some balloons! And observers with parachutes? YES PLEASE! ??
migmadmarine Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 Have you enabled them in the "ground targets" tab? I'd assume they are listed there.

J99_Sizzlorr Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 But they are there i checked the ME. They probably forgot to implement them in QMB...
No.23_Gaylion Posted November 7, 2019 Author Posted November 7, 2019 I tried that too. Loaded up a QMB and selected all the objects. Then went external free flight view to see it they were out. No joy. I like that there are now search lights. Would LOVE to see someone put out a really cool night map. The stories of night pursuit and bombing sound absolutely crazy.
J2_Trupobaw Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 Check Arras, single plane airstart, Entente side, near Arras itself? It may have no icon ;).

Night map did I hear night map...……….I am on it tho last time I did one in ROF the idea was pooped on, I love the search lights in my eyes.....feels like Hollywood.

slug_yuugen Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 The crucial questions is has anyone tried to ditch without flipping yet? ?

biggles0f266 Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 anyone else have the balloons disappearing when you get near or zoom in on them?
BMA_Hellbender Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 Nice! Sadly no bugfixes whatsoever for FC, in spite of all the reports made during early access. This is worrisome.
No.23_Gaylion Posted November 7, 2019 Author Posted November 7, 2019 Rate of fire still not affected by prop speed... Have faith brother hellbender!
BMA_Hellbender Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 Well, the thing is that the game is released now, and no longer in early access. I get that this doesn’t mean all bugs are squashed or that development has ended, but it would be a good idea to give us confirmation that the bugs we reported during early access are either accepted or rejected as bugs, since they were not present in RoF (stuttering gunner animations, D.Va overheat at normal temperature, CL.II gun angle reduction...), that way we can move forward. It’s also fair for us to be more critical about the finished product. That doesn’t mean I’ve lost faith, but I also wouldn’t recommend to buy FC at full price (it still appears to be 10% off for now) with its future shrouded in mystery. 1
US103_Baer Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 (edited) 47. Pitch response curve for non-FFB joysticks has been corrected for all Flying Circus planes, making them easier to fly level. SPAD 13 and Dr.1 were adversely affected due to this change and will be fixed I a Hotfix; Edit: it's turned the Spad into a Camel. Requires a lot more stick fwd to stop it looping! Hope that hotfix comes soon. Also note there is now an Extreme setting for clouds, so the cloud optimisation must have been implemented. Edited November 8, 2019 by US103_Baer

I could tell when there was a human gunner even when the gunner was stationary. I had the same problem in RoF, the gunner would flicker when someone manned the station and at times disappear from view completely at the edge of vision. The animation itself was smooth, though. In Flying Circus, there is no such flicker, but the gunner animation isn't smooth, while the gun itself does move smoothily. In all likelihood there is a missing animation interpolation. J2_Jakob Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 (edited) Just when I was going to have a quick fight before going to bed, the update had arrived. Checked the settings quickly, selected extreme clouds. Fired up the QMB. Allright, just gimme some random Entente plane to fight close to Amiens (so I have something nice to look at while my enemies spiral down out of control). What's that Entente twin-engine mono-plane incoming? Oh, a PE-2! ? ? 9 hours ago, J5_Hellbender said: Well, the thing is that the game is released now, and no longer in early access. From the announcement: "In addition, we plan to closely monitor your messages in order to improve the quality of the project as much as we can in the last part of 2019." Guess we'll need to add some bump messages into bug reports and keep fingers crossed. (Mine are already deformed and I feel strong spasm.) Edited November 8, 2019 by J2_Jakob 1

This is worrisome. Not really. They were shelling us with big updates this fall, and fixing feature breaking bugs in upcoming update rather than game play affecting ones in one just released. They have pushed all 3 products in servicable state two months before deadline, and hopefully have these two months to go back to all gameplay bugs we kept reporting. We just need to keep reminding them of what needs fixing :). Edited November 8, 2019 by J2_Trupobaw 1 4
