I'm really looking forward to the Hurricane. I've looked into the  aircraft for IL2:1946 back in the days, and still have much data on the Hurricane and the Merlin XX. For Il2:1946 it was too much, the modelling of several issues could not be done for lack of detail in that engine. I hope Il2:BoX can do this better. Since I fear my PM offering data will be ignored again, here's a couple of snippets for the general public on some bits I consider important. I also hope the devs check the devs assitance section on occasion.

Dive limit:

The manual states dive speed limits of 390mph IAS. However, there are several reports reporting on the high speed handling, which give considerably higher speeds. It can be seen that 450mph IAS was reached in practice.

Attitude:

Some aircraft in game have the wrong attitude, there are several data sets avaialble on this for the Hurricane, such as this one. Please note the rocket installation. :)

Cooling:

To avoid guesswork on the cooling capacity of the Hurricane. Below level flight at 20k feet with radiator shut. As a sidenote, with the engine timer thing we have, this should be the absolute minimum obtainable.

Spinning:

Some info on the spinning characteristics. Seems to be rare for may aircraft, but it is available for the Hurricane.

Fuel consumption:

Can also be derived from engine tests, but flight tests on the Hurrican are also available:

Polar:

Some investigations on the polar of the Hurricane, dervied from partial climbs.

And again, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
