hi all when i look around for controllers,i find that the cost is very hi,my late farther had some good ideas on this he colour coded keys.yes he painted them, in there control groups.what i wish his, that a keyboard maker would just add four to five sliders to a keypad, this would do so much for simulator players.but no its £50.00 or more for a three slider controller. let me no any good ideas, on this, that might make it a more  faster and easy to change the controls when flying. thank you

PC keyboards dont support axis. Some have touchpad...

To use sliders (axis = potentiometers) you need a HID Controller, the more cheap available is Teensy 2.0 board - cost 16$ (plus shipping).

Allow control up to 8 axis and up to 32 buttons (MMjoy firmware allow 64). An will require a lot of D.I.Y. :)

The software Hidmacros allow you to use more than one keyboard differentiating which sent the command.

Work for FSX... dont know if  work for BoS (that have problem with external send macros).

Get a cheap USB josytick and use his controller board to build a small "slider"/rotaries box with some switch's. You dont expend much, and add

functionality to controls.
