Hello Yankee_One,

At this moment, I have to finish 2nd volume and 3rd volume ?

Later, I will check what skin must be modified. Seems that some of them does not needs modifications (no big mistakes).

See you next?

After some vacations, I took again my brushes and made a new one:

N° 67 - "STINGER VII"  Flown by Captain Robert William Moore - 45th Fighter Squadron  / 15th Fighter Group   - Iwo Jima June 1945

There are two version of the color scheme for 45th Fighter Squadron : June 1945 and August 1945.

I chose the more colorful

Interestingly, the line markings on the wings (ie. 20 / 35 / 50 / 70 / 110) of the "FIGHTING LADY" skin are not just for show.

They were used as a guide to estimate distance / timing for ground attack maneuvers (like the markings on the 1943 IL-2).

Details can be found in the "Air Forces Manual No.64 - Fighter Gunnery Rocket Firing Dive Bombing" apparently.

Requiem has a very interesting guide on how they were used (the video description also has a link to a .psd with accurate line markings):

https://youtu.be/qKqe0HNYqmU

Looking at photos of other planes with said markings, it appears that the markings on "FIGHTING LADY" skin are a little off (eg. 35 line should cross the middle gun):

Anyway, not trying to be pedantic here anything, just pointing out as I was specifically looking for historical skins with accurate wing line markings to try out the technique shown in the video ?
