I get your point, and I probably should specify that (for spotting) screen size is more important than resolution for sure. I don’t know where you get the idea I’m unhappy with my success in MP. I have little interest in MP and haven’t bothered with it in years. I have great equipment, by the way, but I realize that not a lot of people are as fortunate. If you truly believe that there is absolutely no advantage gained in MP by having better equipment, then maybe we should just start another thread about how much better you are than everybody else. S!

In FC I don't think having the best equipment really helps much, Having a 4 k monitor would make everything pop more I'm sure, But ww1 planes have simple controls, I know guys that can kick the crap out of anyone just using a mouse to look around no head tracking. Now in il2 that's different, way more controls to work with. so just a joystick is a tough go.

Never said there was absolutely no advantage to having better equipment in general I'm just saying that ones success in mp is not dependent on it like you think it is.  You're the one perpetuating the myth success in multiplayer is solely dependent on having the best equipment and having buddies on coms.  Next time I won't bother to present a contrary argument if your response toward me is to insinuate that I'm trying to be arrogant as that was not my intention. 

 

PS: Knock it off with the stupid patronizing "S!" BS. I never was an officer or even in the military and likely never will be.
