dburne Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/107613-add-remove-ultimate-performance-power-plan-windows-10-a.html I have just added this myself, and giving a try for when I am about to game in VR. Too soon for me to tell if any difference, and it may be so small as to be fairly negligible. So I leave mine on balanced when doing other non gaming things, when I get ready to game I change my Power Plan to this Ultimate Performance. 1
Alonzo Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 Let us know how you get on with it. Unsurprisingly, I can only find news articles on this (no info) or crappy YouTube videos where someone takes several minutes to show me unscientific figures that are within margin of error of each other. Would be nice to get an experiential report from an experienced VR user.
dburne Posted October 30, 2019 Author Posted October 30, 2019 I have been doing all my gaming in Ultimate Performance since discovering this hidden feature. Everything seems to be working fine but I can not really say I see any difference between High and Ultimate Performance on my rig.
