Gambit21 Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Motorcycle that identifies as bicycle sets world record 6
Danziger Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 Wow! That's an inspiring story! It's like that MMA fighter dude that identifies as a chick and goes around beating the living crap out of all the other MMA chicks.
unlikely_spider Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 Is this kind of a veiled attack on trans people? Not sure I understand.

Are you making a veiled attack at me? I identify as a T-Rex, thus my arms are too shorty to type this right now without my nose hitting the monitor.

I just don't understand the popularity of making jokes about the more vulnerable groups in society. Their lives are hard enough. And it looks like this website has a bunch of these headlines that are the same joke that they're making over and over. 1 1 2
Gambit21 Posted October 30, 2019 Author Posted October 30, 2019 I don’t get it. He’s a motorcyclist who identifies as a bicyclist - why persecute him for it? It’s his bike, his decision. Stop making it about your preconceived notions of what a bicycle is.

Danziger Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 It's not a dumb analogy. It's not fair just like Fallon Fox getting paid to break a woman's skull.

Their lives are hard enough. There are lots of other things that motorcyclists who identify as bicyclists can do other than compete in bicycle races where they have unfair advantages. Wear Lycra leggings, drop plastic water bottles all over pristine country roads, swear at pedestrians etc. These confused motorcyclists may have a hard life, but the vulnerable group in this particular case is the bicyclists, who will increasingly stop racing altogether, since the option of identifying as motorcyclists and competing in motorcycle races hardly presents symmetrical advantages.... I’d like to see a list of transgender athletes that have become champions in their respective sports. Thanks!

But, unlike humans, paying to have parts installed on a bicycle actually makes it a legitimate motorcycle.
