pjmack11377 Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Are nude art files allowed and if so what are the guidelines? Thanks
Cpt_Siddy Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 (edited) If you want to make some strike witches skins or cockpit photos, yes, no one else will see them. If you want to post them to forums or other official IL2 outlets, i would say no. Edited October 27, 2019 by Cpt_Siddy 1
HBPencil Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 For what it's worth I made some cockpit photos showing nudity (hosted on another site, A&A) and haven't had any issues with it. I guess the same would apply for skins with nude nose art as well. 1
Yankee_One Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Until now i have skin requests, mostly P-51 and 38s with nude pinups. There are a lot of skins here. I didnt had any problems when put them into a spoiler, like swastikas. You do have to open the spoiler to show them. I dont think its a problem. 1
Feathered_IV Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 (edited) Prolly not a good idea to show penises, either booming or zooming. Or maybe just hide them behind a spoiler to say “boo!” Edited October 27, 2019 by Feathered_IV 6
J2_Bidu Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 I suppose if they are really really good, then... you shouldn't post them.
Stoopy Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Like anything else it's probably more a matter of taste and presentation, and as mentioned above the "Spoiler" feature can be used when in doubt, like so: Spoiler 5 1
56RAF_Roblex Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 (edited) I would say 'Yes if it is something that would have been acceptable as nose art in 1944'. If Vargas could have painted it and got it published by Esquire then you can ? I am not sure Pjmacks example would fit that criteria though. Too photorealistic and the crutch too exposed. Legioneod Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 If you do post them I'd prefer if you'd put them in a spoiler like others have said. I really don't feel like seeing all of that in the forums. 1
OrLoK Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 some folk have a lot more delicate attitudes to nudity compared to others. especially if created from real images. if in doubt, hide/spoiler. 1
Sublime Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 (edited) https://theaviationgeekclub.com/heres-why-the-infamous-f-105-pussy-galore-was-an-incredible-morale-booster/ Would this work for 1945? If so I want Pussy Galore on my P38 plz. =p Seriously Daedulus made some FANTASTIC FC skins including an all black DVII F with this sick skeleton paint scheme. If I had momey like that Id pay him to skin all my fav Ww2 planes with the same scheme (jet black, full skeleton doin somethin) Edited October 27, 2019 by Sublime
Gambit21 Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Use your head - unlike pjmack above. 40’s style pinup art etc should be just fine. Everyone should be able to figure that out. 4
unreasonable Posted October 31, 2019 Posted October 31, 2019 I thought the OP was talking about modding the pilot models.... 1
pjmack11377 Posted October 31, 2019 Author Posted October 31, 2019 (edited) Thanks for all the input. I am now sticking to 1940'2 criteria, All the best. This is my version of Hazel. Does it pass muster? Thank you Spoiler Hazel...nude Spoiler Edited October 31, 2019 by pjmack11377 misused spoiler 1
