jollyjack Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 (edited) Hi, just a tip. I bought a quite expensive NVDIA RTX card, and found out after quite a lof of trial and error that RTX cards won't work with Windows LTSB, latest updates installed. Even the barebone 'studio' drivers downloaded from some dark corner on the NVDIA site will not. I never read about this in test reviews or on the NVDIA stte beforehand. NVDIA GTX drivers do though, but with a GTX 1050 ti in this case. Shame on NVDIA as Windows 10 64bit LTSB (or Enterprise) is IMO the fastest Windows 10 around, as i have been using that for ALL my PC workstations doing video and audio for about two years now. Almost neverhad any crash LoL. I found this a real bummer, as i had to reinstall Windows 10 Pro, with all that friggin' MSuck bloatware. Now in the fight to get rid of Edge, Cortana, besides all sorts of unwanted spying stuff, i could use some tips. OOsetup etc already came to the rescue. Shove comes to Push .... Besides Windows 10 pro takes twice the time loading compared to Enterprise it seems. So tuning tips for improving loading speed are also very welcome ....... PS i've done all the processor minimum % tuning and USB hub power management unable stuff. PS a water cooler is really good compared to a large air cooler. CPU averages at 34 Celsius non OC'd. Always thought 'lets avoid moisture in my PC'. Not anymore .... ADDED PS: i managed to strip down a lot in Windows 10 pro, it's becoming faster in loading times .... but i still miss Enterprise.
