The end of a mission

How can I stop a mission ending once I have been killed (eliminated) I do like to see how the battle go's on and cycle through the aircraft.

In this case, dead is dead for the player. ?

 

One could make the player invulnerable in the mission. But then the player couldn't be killed.

Thanks for that Thad, not thought of that make the player invulnerable at least I will be there at the end of the battle then I can see how the battle finishes.

As Thad said, you can’t but a few times while still very much alive I’ve purposefully bailed out of my non-perforated plane in quick combat and drifted slowly to terra firma in order to watch the recorded action later to secure some good screenshots.  ?
