db605Sct13 Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 I had a windows update, and now Aircraft control acts like it just "lets go" Anyone else having this issue? . It just started yesterday.
RedKestrel Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 Have you checked out your controllers in Windows 10? Sometimes updates screw up your stick and throttle and needs to be recalibrated.
BornToBattle Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 My rudder pedals now seem to want to just move on their own. 1
blitze Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 (edited) Windows Update - use advanced setting to tell it Download over Metered connection. Stop it from doing this crap auto-magically. So, Il2 - Vulcan - Linux?? Would be so great. Edited October 24, 2019 by blitze Another brainfart 1

db605Sct13 Posted October 28, 2019 Author Posted October 28, 2019 This seemed to work...Thank You.... But now I'm having what seems like over steering issues when trying to aim.... When I settle in on a target it will get wobbly, and even small corrections turn into huge gyrations or porposing …. can any one share their damper settings ?

I use 70% on WW2 craft, 30% on WW1 craft.

You should NOT have to counter that by changing those settings, it sounds like something is still miscalibrated and you are trying to counter by changing the linearity/dampening. Make sure you calibrate using the right tool for your device, sometimes it's not windows calibration. Make sure you actually do the calibration process appropriately, for rudder pedals and joystick On 10/24/2019 at 2:53 PM, BornToBattle said: My rudder pedals now seem to want to just move on their own. Sent them back and the new ones work like a charm. I knew something was afoul when with the CH Manager during calibration the left pedal jerked around a little and wouldn’t calibrate precisely. Calibrated the new ones, then uninstalled CH Manager. It’s always caused me more troubles than it was worth. 1 1
