JimTM Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 (edited) This single-player mission helps you test your graphics settings for spotting aircraft at various slant distances (the direct distance, not the ground distance). Save this mission in your game directory under the "/data/Missions" folder (or a subfolder of that folder). JimTM - Test Spotting.zip There are Me109s flying around your aircraft (Yak-1) at approximate distances from 1km to 8km , in 1km increments. There is also an Me109 flying around you at 20km distance. Before starting the mission, you can select Alternate Visibility on or off in the Realism screen. During the mission, you can turn icons on or off, but they get dimmer as the distance increases. The 20km icon is not visible, but you can track the 20km aircraft icon on the map (with icons on). You can also see the view from a camera at 3,000m. Press F12 to access the camera and then press F11 to enable you to move the camera view and zoom with your mouse. Press F1 to return to the cockpit view.
