The Pattillo Twins 

 

Cuthbert A. "Bill" Pattillo and Charles C. "Buck" Pattillo were born June 3, 1924. These two men were part of the 352nd Fighter Group. Bill Pattillo flew the aircraft "Sweet and Lovely" in the 487th Fighter Squadron. His Brother Buck Pattillo flew "Little Rebel" in the 486th Fighter Squadron. That's a great photo, is the second photo a recent one?

They both look great for their age if it is.

The one on the left, Bill, was a jet killer. Got himself a 262. He was an ace with 7 kills. His P-51, "Sweet and Lovely", didn't survive the war with him. He was shot down and captured. The war was almost over, though, so he wasn't a prisoner very long.
