SOLIDKREATE Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 (edited) The Pattillo Twins Cuthbert A. "Bill" Pattillo and Charles C. "Buck" Pattillo were born June 3, 1924. These two men were part of the 352nd Fighter Group. Bill Pattillo flew the aircraft "Sweet and Lovely" in the 487th Fighter Squadron. Poochnboo Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 The one on the left, Bill, was a jet killer. Got himself a 262. He was an ace with 7 kills. His P-51, "Sweet and Lovely", didn't survive the war with him. He was shot down and captured. The war was almost over, though, so he wasn't a prisoner very long.
