SCG_Euto Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 My settup doesn't allow to throw my head to neck or to reasonably turn around in my chair to check my six. (chair can't turn, does press youinto position and has also a very high necksupport, changing chair isn't an option either) Is there a way to asign a key or MOD something to do that turn around look in VR? I know that you can change the "view position" for its diffrent zooms in 3DMigoto mod for VR when pressing the assigned buttons so it must be possible to have a mod doing the turn around thing like you can do without VR when using a TrackIr or something. 2
VampireNZ Posted May 22, 2020 Posted May 22, 2020 I think in VR you can click 'cockpit mirror' option, and that enables you to check your six. ? Seriously thou I use the mirror all the time to check my six or search out airborne contacts, the mirrors in IL-2 are bloody well done.
[DBS]El_Marta Posted May 22, 2020 Posted May 22, 2020 Quick and dirty solution: use the center view key with your head turned to the left in order to check your six clockwise and vice versa. 1
[CPC]Giledhil Posted May 22, 2020 Posted May 22, 2020 Well, I don't want a snap 6 hour key as I prefer a soar neck to something that would ruin my immersion (which is IMO the maion point of getting VR). BUT I totally see the point since we are limited by the HMDs FOV. Would it be possible to tamper with the Yaw tracking curve of the headset the way we do with TrackIR ? Keep a nice 1:1 in front, and get a bit more sensitivity as we look to the far sides / rear. Wouldn't this be a good solution ?
