Can someone explain or point me in the right direction for the following question?

 

There badges under people's names. Now, I know they indicate game ownership, but what I am not understanding is the purpose of the different colors on the badges. 

Also, what are the IL * 2 badges (I noticed a brown/ bronze and black variety)

 

edit, I think my eyes are playing tricks on me, the ribbons seem consistent. 

edit: I cannot find any information about the administration of the forum. The FAQ deals with he game itself, and not the forum and the Rules section only explains the ToS and not how the site is operated.

I might be wrong about the ribbons. I noticed three primary colors, bronze, Silver, and Gold. There is also a Green color badge. 

I purchased premium of BOS.

I think the IL*2 badge must be an administrator or Moderator of the site. The Dark red must be a admin???

If Gold means special edition, then wouldn't buying the premium be silver and standard bronze? 

Do admin read this subforum?

Yeah, I would call that silver. How does one get silver, etc... I am little surprise no one official has commented/ answered by now.
