Sohn Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 Hello, Lately, i've been suffering and having a real bad headache from an error that i got after the update. I'll describe the drill as it goes: - I boot up my game. It takes a considerable amount of time after the update (It didn't before that). - I select a server to join and most of the time, the game would stop respond and i'd be unable to join any server (i just fixed that today, deleted the startup.cfg file and managed to play an entire match) - Thing is, my game keeps freezing randomly throughout the game. I find myself unable to play it as in the most crucial times (i.e diving at high speeds on an enemy or, worse, taking off) the game freezes and my plane goes out of control and i eventually die a frustrating death. It is noteworthy the fact that when my game freezes, though, i can hear all in-game sounds as if the game would be running, particles are still seen (like, let's say, the dust that comes from behind a plane when you're about to takeoff or the moving grass at the ground). It's like the entire map is still working but i'm frozen in time. - After that happens i usually get an error message from the freeze and get kicked out. Also, for specs: - NVIDIA GTX 1070ti - i7-7700 16GB 3.60GHz My computer can run the game on ultra and have no issues with overheating or stutters, but after the BoBP update it's been unplayable. Any ideas? Please, i really need help. 1
ROSS_Beardy13 Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 Have you solved this problem? I have the same problem with my with my DServer.
Drache* Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 I am sometimes getting the message "no position data on server" message. Can someone tell me what this means please.
No_85_Gramps Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 I found that my upload speed was as low as .05 mbps and data was not reaching the server fast enough, this also caused the out-dated hit data message to pop-up from time to time. Once I got the upload speed issue resolved the problems went away. Of course, in your case, it could just we lousy ping times between the jumps necessary to reach the server.
Drache* Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 OK. Thanks for youe reply. I think my upload speeds shouls be ok though. Perhaps I may be getting some sort of wifi interference that occasionally makes it drop. I will see what other devices I am using at the same time that could be the answer.
