Where to find nose art?

Coming from the airliner world(P3D), the logos are generally easier to make, but delving into warplanes now I struck a little pickle. How do you guys make, or find nose art?

One of the things I do is look for decal sheets of the plane I'm skinning. Then you can import the image into Gimp/PS/P.net and try to repaint it in a larger format.

Any particular nose art you are thinking of?

What Megalax said.  Look on Google for profiles and decal sheets of the particular aircraft you are skinning.  If they are high res enough you can cut paset and resize in a very sort time.  If you need to paint them by hand be prepared to waste an evening or two. :)

Yep, I'm doing a non-historical repaint of an F-86 Sabre FF-0666(a bit of a troll on 1CGS/777 and the 666's I keep seeing on MP) "Temptation", but I couldn't find any with high resolution. And to release it to the public I wanted it to make it as close to that as possible. So, for now, all I can do is screenshots.

Ah, thanks! Yep, that seems to be the only way... Since all I found were very low resolution. Damn!

Other places to look for stuff is in Warbird groups on Facebook. There are a lot of people in those that have access to a lot of documentation, or they have their own photographs. You can always ask there. I know I've found some artwork for some Spits I was working on in some of those groups.

Thanks again! Will take a look on that.
