nothing works since update

I not played for a while, so game does huge 12G update or so, now game loads, I can get into menu, select mission, then nothing happens, does not proceed to start mission, 

 

quick start does not work either

Assuming the game was completely loaded correctly. Non steam. I have no experience with Steam.

 

During initial game load attempt... use the IL2.exe to launch the game.

 

You should have to enter your email address and password.

 

Then click on ENTER.

 

If it doesn't load correctly.... Click on ENTER … again. It should load.

thanks, is not loading through steam, 

 

just from the exe file, I can get past the login, into main menu, then select a tank mission, the screen like goes to do something (small flicker) and then nothing, just stays on same menu page ?

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling it? Frustrating but could get it to work.
Else maybe send in a  bug report, I think there was a section on the forum which is about technical difficulties.
