MasserME262 Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 Really the ONLY thing I hate from the 109 is the flaps "action" speed. Everytime I need to land it, its a "Man, I need the plane to be landed today please!" moment.

Matt Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 I knew it would be a waste of time, but was curious to check it anyway. The difference in flaps angle between 50% and 100% is a near exact 20°, so everything is correct. It's just pretty hard to put the markings on the skin exactly perfect. Even with high resolution. 1

Takes a while to go from full up to full down. Plan ahead.

We are quite lucky lol

I have found through trial and error that the 109s are much easier to land with only about 50% flap, unless you have to stop in a very small landing area. Feels much smoother and in control and there is no real problem slowing down.
