BlitzvogelMcpeek78 Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 (edited) I've got a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. It has served me quite well over the years and I've had two. Though I must say there is a bit of slack in the stick. I now need that slack gone and need a VERY smooth stick. What would you all recomend. Price is not a concideration. I am looking at the Saitek X52 Pro flight. Any thoughts anyone. Please help. Thank you all for your time. Isaac Edited April 6, 2014 by BlitzvogelMcpeek78
Azuredragon Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 I have the X52 pro and it's great. It has more buttons then i can use and the stick is very smooth.
Sokol1 Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 First, how much you want expend? 100$ 250$ 500$ Want a "3in1" joystick - like your actual 3D PRO or a HOTAS plus rudder pedal? The joystick market can be divide in entry level, mid level and "high end" joysticks. The better cost/benefit are models like X-52/X-52 PRO, X-55. Sokol1
Sandhill Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 I'm one of the people that Extreme_One referenced above re Microsoft FFB from eBay. FFB can be a good thing. As Sokol1 points out perhaps your first decision should be rudder pedals or not, as if you do not want to use pedals you can shorten your list. If you do want to get rudder pedals, another EXCELLENT option is the CH Fighterstick.
III/JG11_Tiger Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 I love my warthog but it needed an extension and re greasing to really be at it's best.
