Stoopy Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 (edited) I've made about 80 or more cockpit pictures including custom ones for some folks and need to re-do some with a new alpha layer after seeing how the stock alpha causes some unattractive facial artifacts at low gamma settings. But yeah I was planning on ZIPping 'em up and uploading (with install instructions, LuseKofte) if there's interest. Most all are pin-up or portrait styles, no NSFW stuff, the Bettie Page ones are about as racy as they get, which matches the general feel of nose art of the same time period. Believe it or not I actually DID make a Stalin one and put it in the IL2 variants. I didn't want to post excessive amounts of examples. I will say that Aubrey Plaza looks right in the Yak-1, although I can't explain why, nor should I need to. Good idea, associating study material with your favorite activities is a great way to retain info, plus working through some derivative equations could make for more wholesome use of time on those longer flights to/from Target areas... Napping-Man Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 OH, I totally need a MP and RPM guide for my Spit and P-51!
Jade_Monkey Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 Ain't nobody got time for that! I was also thinking of using the photo as a cheatsheet for engine settings. I know some allied planes have a placard, but might be easier to read.

Now is this because you already messed with the pix? Because it was *not* this simple.when someone was describing how to make your pics go in when this feature came out

RPM 2650 / 2800 / 3000 - cruise / combat / balls to the wall MP just look for the colours on the respective dials and know Green is good and Red is entering The Danger Zone and beyond red is only for short squirts.
