So what servers are actually using Normal vis?

I cannot keep track and most servers do not tell you.   I cannot fly i every server until I see contacts so can anyone tell me "If I want to fly NO-GPS, No helps etc. in Bodenplatte aircraft against humans  without the Alternative Vis mode what servers are available?'

What I know so far:

- Combat Box by Red Flight: GPS OFF + Alt. Visibility OFF. Focused on late war scenarios;

- Knights of The Air: GPS OFF + Alt. Visibility ON. Focused on late war scenarios but also some earlier ones in the Eastern Front;

- Wings of Liberty: GPS ON + Alt. Visibility OFF. Focused on Eastern Front scenarios.

 

Edit: Apparently Wol is also OFF and CB is now OFF as well.

Update server status

It's very frustrating and confusing. It's not even about "expert" servers or elitism, it's about having a choice like we do in single player. I genuinely hope server admins will start to indicate what visibility settings are on. Thankfully some are starting to do so. Alternatively,  and hopefully the developers will introducing a server icon that lets us know.

Combat Box's admins have indicated they will likely test expert visibility for a week or so at some point in the future to gauge player response.

I can understand servers wanting to test a new setting. But now that people can see how awful it is I can’t imagine why anyone wants to continue using it.

Alternate Visibility is literally a game bug that suddenly became a game option. 

 

Please put this setting in the mission name so name so you can really get an idea how popular it is or isn’t.

SharpeXB,  Combat Box said it has now completed it's test runs and is going to run with Normal Vis.  (and yes, it would be good if they put that in Server description)
