I-16 engine sound and wind balancing (not bug)

I just took a flight in the I-16.  It seems that the ambient wind sound far overpowers the sound of the engine.  Before the new sound engine, I could at least hear the motor well enough to make my settings with reasonable accuracy without looking at the dashboard (tech chat off).  Now the wind seems to be too loud.

It's not a complaint.  If this is how it really is, then I will adapt. But, if you (devs) are willing to balance it, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.    ~S~

Now i hear the wind sound when I turn the head to the left. I'm not sure if this was happens before the update,  and if it has something to do with the prop flow at wings , but now is much more intense....

I noticed that since the recent update that you hear the wind in an aircraft with a canopy and when it's closed if you lean your head to the left or the right, as if the canopy was open. I sort of reasoned that this was to simulate having your head pressed up against the canopy?

This may or may not be related to the new I-16 wind sound...I haven't flow the I-16 since the update yet, so I think I'll give it a go shortly.

IIRC, shifting your head to one side, almost pressing your ear against the canopy glass was always there.

Perhaps the new sound engine will require a little bit of re-balancing of some sound effects though.   Maybe some of the sound levels/balance are more realistic this way but, for the purpose of general player experience, they can be made a little less extreme.
