I like the "23 Skidoo"   because I have seen it several times flying in Chino CA and did stand on it´s wing last days to check out the Cockpit.

That's a fave of mine as well. Not least for the meaning of 23 Skidoo (in old English I think!). Check it out, it'll make you smile. I like the Olive Drab ones and I may just bang that one out when the template becomes available. Watch this space. Well, not THIS one... THIS one!

Hello Raptorattacker…..thanks a lot, you are also a very great skinner. Here are so many great ones who share their hard work, thanks for doing that. I don´t know how to Skin.

 

SKIDOO means "run fast" or "run away" if I am not mistaken.

 

The P-38´s looks really great in Olive Drab, lovely plane and really great done by the Dev´s I am looking forward to all the nice Skins.

It kinda means "Go Forth and Multiply" without the '23' bit but in the crudest form of the phrase (I obviously can't actually SAY it on here)!! 19th century I believe... I'm sure you can work it out? 

"We'd better skidoo, QUICK!" or, "Oi you, SKIDOO!!".

Photorecce planes (variants of already existing planes like lightning, spitfire, me 262) should be integrated in the career of this game, because interception of those was of great importance back then.

 I would be cool it we got a camera option for the P-38 or the Spitfire kind of like how the two seat attackers in Flying Circus get cameras for recon missions.

Raptorattacker, that would be an absolute joy! The P-38 has become our favourite aircraft to fly as a group, but the chrome skins leave them a little less desirable than they should be.

If some skinners do the F-5 Lightning skins, I'm hoping that they are able to paint the camera window onto the left side of the fuselage pod. If not, then really, it's just a P-38. And I certainly don't mean "just" in a nasty way! It's my favorite at the moment.

You might be able to fidget with the alpha layer to make the faux window reflect like glass. Not transparent of course. But still shine like glass. Its doable.

I would really like to get the PUGY skin if someone is willing to make it for me. I was stationed at McGuire AFB my entire career and drove past that plane everyday sitting on a pedestal in a circle at the main gate.

There are a number of P-38 skins in this thread for those interested. (Bottom of the page)

Including 2 skins for a 9th airforce P-38 (9th Airforce P-38s were the only present in Rhineland map area in late 1944-early 1945)
