1.JaVA_KEBEN Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 (edited) I really don't want to nag, but what a mess after the update. You can do better aiming if you have drunk three liters of beer, because if you are sober you will never succeed. Now the tower is also turning back on the old models, instead of solving it, it has become even worse. In addition, you can now no longer look around your hatch and the tower can no longer rotate from outside ... I do not know who devised this ... but what is this bad .. really bad. I have been practicing the whole day ...but there is so much difference between left / rigt and up and down movement of the turret ..you must be drunk to aim right . After a week of hard and long work there was no relaxation this time, a lot of irritation about the bad upate Edited October 6, 2019 by 1.JaVA_KEBEN 2

Can you please describe exactly how you tested this? 29 minutes ago, 1.JaVA_KEBEN said: the tower can no longer rotate from outside My dear friend, you really have to accept, that this correct. The T-34 gunner was not able to turn the gun, when he was looking out of his hatch, so it should be this way in the game, too. 32 minutes ago, 1.JaVA_KEBEN said: After a week of hard and long work there was no relaxation this time, a lot of irritation about the bad update Really, three litres of beer would be quite relaxing for me.

I understand … but before the update i can look arround the hatch with my track-ir ..now not any longer ..so limited field of view. The worse part is that the tower turns back to the forward position when you go outside…+ the more limited field of view … Thats no longer a lot of fun . The aiming is a real mess , the big problem is the difference between left/righy movement and elevation ,,thats the problem it feels so bad . left/ right movement is fast up and down movement is slow When you combine that in one mouse you have a problem with aiming ( feels like a drunk Russian or German gunner ) ...and thats the situation now on this moment When you have the same reaction between up/down and left /right then there is no problem anymore . Quote Really, three litres of beer would be quite relaxing for me. For me also Edited October 6, 2019 by 1.JaVA_KEBEN

I was just testing, if I could drive over the Rhine bridge in Bonn. After testing with the Panzer IV and III, with which I had no chance to enter the bridge. My tank simply stops moving, when I try to. Then I tested with the T-34 1943, and yes the view forward looking out of the hatch is very limited in T-34s. I was driving it indeed most of the time sitting in the driver's seat, to have a better forward view. But I guess I will have to lose some weight, because my T-34 didn't make it off the ground, when I was at the bridge. Only the front was in the air, but the rear stayed on the ground. 1
JG1_Wittmann Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 At this point IMHO the game is unplayable with the new "aiming" system. This is several steps backward in Tank Crew development, and puts it back IMHO at an Alpha stage, and not even ready to Beta test. Does this game even have Beta testers ? If so , where are they and why have they not run any of the vehicles, human, or AI through any kind of rigorous testing on simple missions ? 1 1

I went to play with the T-34STZ the aim was totally out of control with no vertical option But ... after I restarted the game seems to be back to normal
RIVALDO Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 In T34 vertical aim was separated from the horizontal. Right now I'm unable to move my turret vertically if its in motion horizontally...I can only do so after the turret comes to a complete stop horizontally. Please fix it.And it's ridiculous that after the update we have to use our mouse's micro movements to aim?.It feels like someone is standing outside your tank and jerking the main gun back and forth trying to make you seasick ?? 1
Yogiflight Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 (edited) With very low mouse sensitivity and acceleration I can handle it. But it needs a lot of concentration, not going over the target. The main issue for me is, that the vertical movement often doesn't work for a few seconds. And I think the turrets are turning too fast. What is nice is, we can now move the turret machinegun while shooting. And after Jason's tip to play with full screen instead of windowed mode, The Dom, railroad main station and the whole Dom district in Köln are now in my map, too.
