Hopper64 Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 Looks like a bug to me. Seen it a few times. I did not hit eject, it's just there: 1

NORD80 Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Does anyone know how to turn the compressor on high in p51 ??? I know it will switch automatically but I can't do it manually.?

I know it will switch automatically but I can't do it manually.? It would be nice to have to option to switch it manually, as you can do that in the real P-51. It is however not useful at all using this manual setting for switching to high gear, what you want to do is overiding the automatic selector to switch to low gear at higher altitude. You can squeeze mbetter mileage at cruise settings due to less parasitic load on the crankshaft. Going on high too early just puts you at risk of damaging your engine.

I know it will switch automatically but I can't do it manually. I asked the same question last week: Like Zach said, it's useless to switch to high gear manually as it would only damage your engine. I did some more research and some say the high gear is either for testing on the ground, others say it's for when you have a failure in the automatic system (you don't need that in BoX (yet)). Maybe both are right. I hope this clears out things for you a bit. Have a nice day.

Pea_Shooter Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 (edited) I've seen the bug too. I use TrackIR5 and notice if I lean far to the sides or top I can hear the wind going by as if the canopy is open. If I lean waaay too far up or to the sides, that's when the pilot pops out. I had a bit of fun with it and took this screenshot Not a huge deal to me. I didn't need to reboot the game; I just restarted the mission. Edited October 22, 2019 by Pea_Shooter
