P38 No Manoeuver Flap detent ?

In the P38 you should be with a simply keypress select the Manoeuver position of the Flap lever. In the sim all you get is up and down. The idea of the maneuver flap setting was to provide a simple means to rapidly bang down combat flap.

Doesn't it currently work in game that you tap the "flaps down" key and it deploys them to the combat position?

As thenorm says: just make a little press on the key and that works

Quick press of flap down (don't hold) moves the handle to maneuver position

Double tap the flaps was working for me.
