GP* Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 150 would be greatly appreciated for the P-47. Has anyone investigated the control stiffening above 400 MPH in the P-47?

Has anyone investigated the control stiffening above 400 MPH in the P-47? I haven't really been able to find much, mostly just generalized descriptions that say the control forces build up and get high above 350 mph and increase with G load applied. No saying exactly what "high" is and there's nothing saying you couldn't pull full deflection at high speeds just that the control load was higher the faster you fly. Around 540 mph IAS is when the controls should start to be extremely stiff but until then you should be able to move the controls if enough force is applied. Problem is we don't know the limitations of the in-game pilot and the max load you can pull. Found these reports but I'm still reading through them. No 100% sure how to interpret them yet. http://www.wwiiaircraftperformance.org/p-47/Naca_TN_2675__F-47D-30_Flight_Test.pdf http://www.wwiiaircraftperformance.org/p-47/Naca_TN_2899__F-47D-30_Flight_Test.pdf
