Reducing Payload with the FMB - Template making

The large maps, especially if you say import the Template group Rheinland cities. I noticed in JM's Bodenplatte P51 Aachen mission, that a great number of German cities and other are not present.

Is it possible to dump mapped group items, and save the lot as a new localized or specific Template *.Group file, and reload that in the same or other new mission?

 

Just found our reloading a template screws up an existing mission in the FMB ...
