190-A8 boosted performance

I've read data stating that the A8 could get to about 665kph at 6K using the 1.65ata boost. Has anyone tested if this is true in-game? I've never really flown the A8 above 3K.

After the last FM Update it should be ok.

Haven’t checked it since last update. Last time I tested it was still overheating incorrectly and did not behave as shown in Luftwaffe tests where rads are open on the ground and half open in climb. Otherwise could be closed. Close them in sim and would quickly overheat. 

 

The Anton we need is the A-9.

 

910 built, active in Bodenplatte and has a more powerful engine with a higher critical altitude than the A-8.

Imho it isn't bad, critical altitude could be a bit higher, but since it drops down speed slower than the real one, in the current setup it sort of fits together rather well, 5 km/h slower at 6000 meters, more or less the same at 7000 -8000 and almost 10 km/h faster at 9000.  Roughly 10 km/h faster at 3000 and 4000 but it isn't a big deal imo.
