I have heard that Flying Circus is more multiplayer focused, and I don't see a pilot Career advertised on the store page like it is with Battle of Bodenplatte. Thanks everyone!

I'm the same way, I'm mostly a Single Player or small-group MP kinda guy. Apparently PWCG is coming to Flying Circus according to Patrick Wilson himself, so that's exciting. I just realized that I've been assuming it'll be there since RoF has it and IL2 has it, but with it not being advertised on the store page I want to be sure before I drop $70-$80! 12 minutes ago, OrLoK said: AFAIK yes. It's really a shame. I know there aren't many single player flight sim players out there, but the career mode was the thing that got me into this series after it was added (and the career mode in RoF was a big part of the reason I enjoyed that, as well). But as you say, hopefully Pat Wilson has us covered.

PWCG has given my brother and I an easy way to generate missions and play together, and I look forward to both BoBP and FC in PWCG!

I do this mostly because I like doing it. It's nice to code mostly what I want how I want to. 7 1
Modeus Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 At the risk of sounding like a fanboy for 1CGS and Pat Wilson, let me just say I absolutely love these games and what Pat has done with them. I have a wall full of simulators going back to the 80s and covering most of the classics, in all theaters, and nothing has allowed me to recapture that feeling of yesteryear like playing PWCG missions in these modern games. Hats off to the guys who make the games, and to Mr. Wilson for supporting them so amazingly with his career generators. I absolutely cannot wait for Arras/Flying Circus to be included as it is so amazingly immersive in VR. I'm very curious to see how PWCG will create historically accurate missions with such a limited set of planes, but I'm sure it'll be awesome either way.

ROF career mode was wonderful , really immersive ,in fact i liked it so much i instantly signed up and bought FC. A shame that we have to rely on others to bring out the full potential of this little gem. I won't be commiting that mistake again. A HUGE thank you to Pat Wilson. FC1 doesn't have it, and as far as we know FC2 isn't planned at all.. at this point in time. With PW's incredible work I would expect the Devs won't be prioritising this. We'll need to wait for the Devs to announce what they're going to do next. S!

Quote As I mentioned above, getting WW1 up and running again takes a lot of work, so Flying Circus will initially include support for the Quick Mission Builder and our Mission Editor. We will also create and include some custom single-player missions as we near completion of FC and if Volume One proves popular and we move to make future volumes, we will introduce the Pilot Career to FC. They were obviously VERY clear from the start stating exactly what was planned. I will just have to read what is written and not what i want to be written. Thank you!!

Thank you!! Erm rather I was backing up your statement that the devs were not planning a career for this when OrLok asked for a source given that he was not aware that this was the case. So that he was the one not having read the devs very clear statement about what was planned with this product rather than you. Edited October 18, 2019 by Oliver88
