Jaegermeister Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 So I finally got my recent install of the update to work. I had to do a system restore and I am still missing a visual basic c++ file when trying to start Steam VR. I get this error message when I start IL2 The directory to the img file does not exist in my installation. Do I need to do a reinstall to get rid of this message? Game runs fine once I get past the loading screen.
AndyJWest Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 Have you got mods installed? Because there doesn't seem to be a \bin\game\ReplacementTextures folder in my stock IL-2 GB installation.
Jaegermeister Posted October 2, 2019 Author Posted October 2, 2019 Yes, turns out it’s an issue with 3DMigoto. I accidentally left it enabled when the update ran. I may have to do a reinstall to get the correct file back.
