namhee2 Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 I have tinkered with the new effects, a small minefield.unfortunately, the explosion can not cause damage to the tank. Does somebody has any idea? minen feld.zip 1
Hamaha15 Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 (edited) AT-Mine for Tank Crew ...and here we go: AT-Mine.zip I don't disclose the working principle here - it may look too odd, but it works reliably. The chosen charge is strong enough to take out even a Tiger. It does destroy a Pz IV in almost all cases. The downloadable .GROUP file contains one AT-mine. Its trigger radius is 3.5 m. You need to lay a larger minefield by copying the mine. It knocks out any vehicle, independently from its coalition. If you lay a minefield in a MP mission you better take a note of the location to avoid the area during the game. The design doesn't use the damage command. The mine destroys one tank out of a platoon without doing harm to the others. Enjoy Edited January 30, 2021 by Hamaha15 1 1 1
RIVALDO Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 If you put it on the road- you can skip it by driving fast enough...
Hamaha15 Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 (edited) Made a trial: mine on the road, downhill, straight road section, speed at impact 47 km/h (= max possible speed at that location), offset at impact approx 1/2 tank length (to avoid loss of speed due to steering). The result is a torn right track and the Tiger was turned around. Made a second trial - this time Tiger centered when hitting the mine, impact speed 46 km/h (due to steering manoeuvre). The Tiger was destroyed. Of course there may be circumstances when the mine doesn't work reliably. With above evidence I think it works well in standard situations. Koenigstiger Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 Hello, in which file i have to unzip the at-file please ? Best greetings Guenther
Hamaha15 Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 (edited) Hi, .Group-files must be saved in the mission folder, best in the same subfolder along with the mission you want to use it first with. Group-files are selectable in the object library if you click the "Groups" button. Don't save the mine in the Templates folder. If imported from there it would appear always at the very same coordinates - no matter on which map. Cheers Edited January 30, 2021 by Hamaha15
namhee2 Posted January 29, 2021 Author Posted January 29, 2021 Here is a small alternative, but remember that there can only be one tank per mine. If you drive a platoon then one mine will destroy the whole platoon Panzer-minen.zip
