Graphics changes no longer save since 3.201

Since the update, I cannot save any changes to graphics settings. Despite accepting and restart they have returned to the default when I start each time.

I don't get what you mean by graphics settings saving .... in the game, or FMB? Do you mean the apply function? Latter could be a Windows properties issue maybe.

Usually with those i use Windows Repair AIO to fix them. There are more tools to fix those also, apart from within windows. Activate Take Ownership and address the whole game folder?

Any change I make in graphics i.e. from HIGH to ULTRA, or Vsync on to off, or Gamma from 1.2 to 0.9 will only stay set while in-game. If I exit the game and go back in, all the settings are what they were before I changed them. I can't see how it can be a Windows issue when it's only started doing that since 3.201 was installed.

Please check the file's properties - the startup.cfg file in question might be write protected. Did you check this?

Dead right Therion! it was Read Only. I wonder why the update would do that? Many thanks
