Pict Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 ? Looks like my question mark still works ok I did have to remap my trim controls though and so far that the only key related issue I have come across so far...only given it a short test.
4driano Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Yes, buttons of my VPV MT-50 are no longer working. Only the axis are ok.
BroGrimm1tkcamp Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 I have the same hardware and mine did the same. I unplugged the USB and reinstalled, it was OK after that. 3 minutes ago, 4driano said: Yes, buttons of my VPV MT-50 are no longer working. Only the axis are ok. 1
jollyjack Posted October 1, 2019 Author Posted October 1, 2019 (edited) OK thanks, meanwhile i mailed support, and reinstalled yesterdays boot partition backup, lucky me, made just before the download.. All works normal again .... But i just wonder, but i won't post any political statements here LoL. I suspect it was a keylogger malware thing in my case, had that before once. This update is not "infected with malware" and your technical problem is to do with your own pc. Do you think you should edit the title of this thread? 3
jollyjack Posted October 1, 2019 Author Posted October 1, 2019 (edited) Maybe, but i couldn't find what was wrong, and the common repair tricks usually do. I only ran the update and noticed the behavior after that, did not download or installed anything else. To ease your mind: I'll add fixed to the title, but IMO through out the years there was occasionally an issue with various renown software houses and updates, f.i examples: https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/pan9wn/hackers-hijacked-asus-software-updates-to-install-backdoors-on-thousands-of-computers https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-10-04/the-big-hack-the-software-side-of-china-s-supply-chain-attack BTW there was a question mark in the title, and maybe i was a little quick on the draw, as no one else seems to have experienced the same so far ... C'mon, just edit the title already. It's crazy at it is that you thought there may have been malware in the download.
