workky Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Hey guys, i need a little help Just started back into flying and had to do a computer rebuild I have a Nvidia 1070 something or another The game kinda looks like crap, bad edges, etc. Does anyone have optimal settings for an Nvidia card? Or can help a moron out?
PicksKing Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Standard settings in nvidia control panel should be fine. So keep it and get into the ingame settings. 1. Check your resolution. Should be 1920x1080 at least. 2. Then check the anitaliasing. Try 2x or 4x to fix this.

If you are not that familiar with those NVidia settings, then just pick a standard configuration profile, which isn't bad - at least for a start. Just right-click on your desktop and select the NVidia Control Panel - you should get this: Move the slider to the right, so you have the standard quality profile, and click on "Apply". Next, you will click on the link "Take me there", because we need some adjustments to do. You should get something like this: 1. Leave the global settings in the global tab. Change to the Program Settings tag to create a specific IL-2 profile. Just check the drop-down box to find your IL-2 program. 2. Make sure the "Power management mode" is set to "Prefer max. performance" - leave the rest as is (don't look at the rest of the settings - it's for my crappy graphic card) To save your changes, click on "Apply". And close that panel. Next step is done in the game itself, so start your game, log in and go to the settings menu and select "Graphics". You should get this: You can take these settings to begin with and have a go. Good luck! Cheers P.S.: If you think, your monitor or your CPU might do better, you can always increase one of those settings. Edited October 1, 2019 by -=-THERION 1
