Well and WOW, Arras and Rheinland Maps, Wow again !

Now my Q is like from a spoiled kid: are there any winter versions coming on ?

And Vluki also has winter only.

PS do you know maybe how to select a group that seems to be locked in the FMB? Right or Left clicking does nothing ... and i want to ungroup.

Reset group also does nothing ...

Your group may be part of another group. Make that other group the working group first.

Thanks, just figured that one out  .... alas they all look alike, maybe handy you can color them differently,

as it's quite a search in Rheinland when you load some building, airfields etc presets. .

You can use the procedure "Find the Group Containing an Icon That You Want to Select" on pg. 25 to find out what group an icon is in. The procedure is complicated, but it's all I could think of at the time I wrote the manual. It would be nice to have a simpler way to select any icon, no matter how deep it's buried in groups.

Yes. But the object "tree" on the left hand side of the ME is your friend. It's a powerful way to find and select the things you want to tweak. (Being disciplined with naming things in your missions helps a lot with this too.)

OK thnkx. I am going to dive more into the manual, pffff around 300 pages .... how did you ever do that without things like the wife leaving, local bartender forgetting your face, etc.

BTW did you see my post https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/54271-bodenplatte-map-buildings-error/?tab=comments#comment-825475

Have to figure out if it´s possible to make up a new airfield, an essential 3 are missing to do with the battle of The Hague. My now passed father was a 19 year old sergeant, fighting there with some 100 troopers armed with one shot WW1 rifles at Ockenburgh airfield May 1940. They managed to shoot down the first Ju52 with the only Flak gun present.

This blocked the only runway, causing the other planes to crash into the muddy fields around. The only 96 airfield defenders won the battle that day, 10th of May, after which Hitler decided to bomb the hell out of Rotterdam.

My father said they realized the German Elite paras were so organized by doing some prepared stepping patterns before standing in firing position, so they told the Dutch soldiers were to aim when a para hit the ground .... some distance left of them after hitting the ground if i recall right. They had only one chance with their single shot rifles. A lot of Germans died there that day .....

350 pages, but only 175 pages of procedures. The rest is just support.

No wife, no life, drank alone. :sorry:     Seriously though, I write technical doc for a living so I'm used to handling large projects. This one was done over a long time frame, when I had time to spare. The first thing I did was log every single forum post related to editing and then group them into chapters and topics before filling in the details. I also referred to the RoF manual and existing YouTube tutorials, and did a lot of playing around and testing on my own. I also benefited from some TS sessions on editing that Haashashin ran at one time.

I saw the post you referred to above but I have nothing to add at the moment.
