Issue with numpad snap views (using mouse and keyboard)

Hi all,

 

I have an issue where the snap views on my keyboard don't seem to work fully. I'm using mouse and keyboard to play, which may be odd to some. But it's all I got right now.

 

When I press a numpad key to activate a snap view, the head position moves to the correct place (e.g., front right of cockpit, or back right) but my pilot doesn't actually look to the side. I'd expect that the snap view assigned to numpad 6 would look directly out across the wing - but it doesn't, my pilot keeps looking dead ahead while moving his head slightly rightwards.

 

Weirdly, when I activate autopilot it does work as expected - pilot looks out to the wing when I press numpad 6, or over his right shoulder when I press numpad 3. But when I come out of autopilot it stops working that way and returns to facing dead ahead.

 

I'm presuming it's something to do with using mouse to fly, but I don't know.

 

Can anyone shed some light on this?
