Stalls and Flight charateristics

How do the aircraft handel in this Build? Is everone fairly impressed? I have my pilots license and was wondering what  other pilots thought of this new build. I really thought alot of cliffs of dovers flight handeling so much better than the orginal IL-2. The real LaGG-3 was suposed to be heavy on the stick control forces. Do they stall quite differently? Sure would like to know before I buy.

Flight- or stick-expirience and performance- and behavior-characteristics in BOS are complelty different - aka "better" imo. than IL-2.

Whereas IL-2 will feels like a "scripted arcadian" paper-plane (pull pull flaps and spray laser guns) .. the dogfight and the geometry in BOS reuquires

better foresight and proper BFM. Whereas IL-2 felt like steering a virtual 3D objects through empty space, in BOS the flight truly feels like "flight".

There is no telemtry data available yet, but its a hell lot of fun to fly in BOS.

 

They have done a great job, although few things (effects and some gfx) are kinda exagarated imo, but its still WIP.

I flew yesterday extensively... old IL-2 and new IL-2 (BOS) .. and to be honest i really loose interest flying the old version.

Defintly worth getting it, even if it is only 45% done yet.

 Yes, spot on!  Its one of the big strengths of the Digital Nature engine; it creates the "illusion" of flight on a pc screen brilliantly!  Have you tried Rise of Flight yet, A-S?  It has a F2P demo.  Well worth giving it a go. :salute:
